Hi guys, been away for a very long time and just starting to get back into my PSP and PS3. Liking some of the PSN stuff coming out etc. so I'm wanting to take advantage of a lot of the new stuff as well as continue rolling with CFW etc. Here's what I have:

I guess i have a phat, it was the one right before slim was released.

I have 3.90 M33-3. I thought I could do the network update but I keep getting "unable to connect to server." Maybe my version is to old?

So I'd like to get my PSP up to par with what you guys think I should get. I have tons and tons of ISOs and CSOs, etc. (NO you can't have any so don't PM me for them).

I'd like to load up whatever latest CFW is most compatable/friendly to what I already have. I also am wondering if the latest CFW allows PSN access/downloads etc. I read this is not working a few months ago...still the case?

I appreciate any direction. There's so much info out there and I'm having quite a time deciding what the best route is; don't want to screw anything up or miss a good thing. Thanks again! (Sorry wall - of - text!)
