No it should/will not make any difference with or without Autosort, just make sure that you have the LIVE cable feed connected to the RF in socket and that you are scanning on the correct symbol rate for your provider, it could be that you have a faulty tuner on that one. And as regards the recognition of the Firmware with Autosort, it does say (no sort) on the appropriate one, such as >>>>>>>>>

I am presuming you are in UK.

Hi mick just in and out things to do - 39 TPs is correct so there does not seem a lot wrong, when you say it only picks up a few channels - are you saying that when it picks up 39 transponders, it then just brings in a few channels? - or if it does bring in the channels - then ensure that the Emulation is Enabled. (Menu and OK on Language Settings, enter 1968 and make sure that Emulation is Enabled). Now when you say that the message No Signal appears!!! it usually means just that, so double check your connections and especially your LIVE feed.

Glad your sorted, so it turns out to be a Faulty Tuner after all, never mind - all's well that end's well, and thanks for getting back and letting us know. :)

Yes you do - they come supplied with FTA firmware only, so click on the link marked Eurovox and you will find a guide and the firmware courtesy of HiTeck, alternatively you will find the firmware in Eamo's FTA Library both links at the bottom.
