Who cares about ODST. It's just going to be an overpriced Halo 3 map pack. A minicampaign and the rest is multiplayer, which they could have just offered through DLC. At least COD4: MW2 is a new game, with a completely new aspect to multiplayer, new guns, and even a new revive feature that should make things interesting. I can't wait to kill the medic!

what's the completely new aspect to multiplayer? the lock on rockets or the dual wielding?
personally i think both are gonna be bad ass.

Yeah, those are two awesome things added. That rocket launcher in the first MW couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.
I'm excited about the sticky grenades, custom kill streaks, and new perks like the magickey (instead of a rocket attached to your rifle, you have a shotgun!), and extended magazines. The riot shield should add a whole new aspect to capture the flag and domination games! Ok, time to calm down....

There's going to be capture the flag in MW2? I thought that was Treyarch's gametype.

The demo I watched clearly showed one guy with a riot shield picking up a flag and running back to his base. Look's pretty sweet.
And as for sounding halo-ish.. None of those things you listed originated with halo. Halo has custom kill streaks? You must be really good at adding code to your game, cuz there aren't any special in game perks that you get for killing 7 people in a row.
I'm not saying COD is the first people to do these things, but i'm sure they will do it better than anyone, especially since they are so particular on balancing the game out. This is much unlike halo, where everone runs to where the rocket launcher spawns since it is so much more powerful than anyone elses weapon. I never see people running around strictly with rocket launchers in COD.

I'm not exactly a huge halo fan (I haven't touched the game in about 7 months) but everyone knows the game isn't about rushing rockets >_<

Anytime there is a rocket that spawn in a Halo game that I've played, people target the player that is holding it because they want it. Then you have the people that will wait for it to spawn before going back into battle.
And, acctually, I didn't ignore those things. That's why I mentioned them. And yes, he highlighted custom kill streaks. Maybe you need actually read the thread before you "blatantly ignore" things..
