just noticed that larry removed his guides this morning.i can fully understand why he did this.problem is i started doing the launch back ups from disc channel guide this morning as i have successfully completed this mod 2 times already on other wii's.i wasn't sure of what step was next so thats when i searched for the guide again.i ran the any region changer and updated the wii back to 4.1.i know that the pre loader is the last step but can anyone remind me if i have to run ios downgrader as my next step?

Not mad at all.

I just felt myself that the guide is kind of risky for beginners.

To many members dive into it and do not fully read the guide then have a S**T fit when things screw up and the Wii ends up bricking.

Then I feel that I have to take the time to help them get back up and running again. To me the negatives out way the positives so I took it down.

Larrylje, I do understand the feeling of being blamed for bricking the Wii of those beginners using your guide, modifying the Wii is a risk for them.

The beginners/noobs SHOULD take the responsibility when they brick their Wii. Not all of us are aware on the behavior of the Wii specially with different region, firmware release as well as new revision of Wii where Nintendo and the Wii-hacking community playing cat and mouse.

I salute you for taking time still helping and re-writing/modifying the guide.

Hey Larry, Wound you be interested in trying to help me get the backup soft guide installed. I have a copy of the guide. I started it but when I started the anyregion changer I got some errors and then the thread was closed. I would not place any blame on you for mistakes made if I brick my console. I will have to try and run the anyregion again cause I don't remember the errors now. My wii shop channel still does not work and says I need update but I am already on 4.1U. Thanks Again
