hey guys i was trying to make a backup of the Ghostbusters game. i did it how i usually make all my backups and i was using Xbox 360 backup creator. when i do a check on the DVD it gives me an error, it tells me:

Security sector: Success
PFI Sector: PFI mismatch
DMI sector: Success
Media ID: not tested
VIdeo File System: Not tested
SlipVid FOrmat: not tested
FAILED

i tried using Schtrom and also no luck.
i tried Xdvdmulleter and it told me invalid broken...ect, i tried to fix issue the way i thought is done but still no luck.
i tried making the copy with my verbatim DVD DL but the Xbox wont read it at all. reads it as a DVD.
i am trying to make the copy from the actual Ghostbuster game and i do it the same way i back up all my games for some reason this one is not working.

anyone know what i might be doing wrong or how i can correct this issue?

Thanks

you are backing up a Wave 3 game with an older copy of XBC, burn it then check the back up on abgx360gui and you will find it to be Okay

You will need to update the firmware on your 360 drive.

hi,

I actually did update the firmware. i played Madden 10 and the 360 told me i had to update my Xbox 360 so it did do the update. i made the copy of the Ghostbusters game and tried playing after the update and that is when it read as a normal DVD. it plays my other backup games fine and original games as well. i just seem to be having issues with the Ghostbusters game for some reason. any other ideas?

when you backed it up, did you get 2 file, a small DVD file and large ISo file?

yes i did. every time i back up an original with XBC i get both files. i downloaded the newest version of XBC 2.8 and i ran the game with abgx360 and at the end of everything it said successful. i cannot seems to burn the game with XBC 2.8 however as it tells me the game is not patched. i tried using imgburn and set the layer break to 1913760. ( not sure if your suppose to set the layer break for wave 3 too) i tried to burn the game but still it kept giving me an error.

Strange one, you have messed around with the setting in XBC or the book type in imgburn?
Try cloneCD and see if you get same problem after the burn...
