If you do it right it could last years, if you do it wrong it could last a few weeks and then be unfixable so make sure you follow a guide and don't overtighten the screws, tighten them bit by bit and test until it stops having rrod, then if it starts freezing or getting rrod again tighten them more until it eventually works, it might require an overheat to start working.
