GTA4 Verification Problem.....

I burned GTA4 back in the days when it came out. Now i dont remember if i fully ran this download thru abgx because when i pass it thru (abgx), i put the burned disc in thru abgx to check, now it says stealth passed but game data failed. It must be a fail of verification of online database sorta thing.
My problem is that i started playing it online a couple days ago and then i noticed the problem i stated previously. But then i checked on abgx's website and i saw that all the ntsc releases that came out passed the bad crc checks and did not need auto fixing, does this mean im ok to play GTA4 online even if i didnt autofix the file?
Just wondering cuz i really dont know which version i downloaded. The thing is theres a nuked version and when i pass the burnt dics thru abgx it doesnt tell me which release it was that i downloaded so i really dont know.

honestly, I wouldn't play it. I know there are verified versions of the game. I would just make sure I get one of those releases.

I hear you guessswho, i fu^^^ed up. I totally forgot that some older games back then i never ran thru abgx. Oh well, this is why were here cuz were risk takers. I made a mistake, a stupid one and ima bite the bullet when and if the time comes. Im just really hoping i download that apathy version. Im trying to think which version i downloaded because i know i downloaded it from binsearch but more than that i dont remember. Lets see what happens!

it wont tell you what release it was. the people that rip/upload games to the net dont rewrite the game itself to label it as apathy release, or marvel release.

Oh ok, is there any possible way for me to tell whether this is an oiffical release or do i have to just wait and see?
I didnt copy this image but after doing the game crc check everything sort of checked out does this mean this file is ok?

well where did you download it from? did you already delete the .rar files for the game?

Yea i deleted the rar files cuz i downloaded this back when it came out. I downloaded it from binsearch.info off newsgroups. I tried fetching the release i downloaded thru binsearch to see maybe if i can try to see which file it was exactly i downloaded but its so old the post doesnt even show up.

well you might be SOL on figure it out, unless you still have the .nzb file in your temp folder or where ever you save them at.

could i possibly download the apathy version right now and run it thru abgx and see whether if the info it gaves me for the apathy version compared to the info i get on abgx for my sol gta4 version matches in any shape or form, if this is even possible? Like doing a side by side comparison of what abgx tells me about the crcs etc of both versions?

possibly. although looking at your log from agbx i dont see where its failing at. if it was me i wouldnt have a problem running that disc.
