I would say either the cords are faulty or the xbox is faulty. If you have a warrently I would try to send it in. Sorry thats all I can think of.

i have 2 xboxs they are both flashed, switched leads and still after 20 mins its losses it sound

worked out the problem,when i had a red lights on my xbox then i fixed it. the heat worped the motherboard so sound card solder started to crack ,but many thanks for your help
