im not sure if i heard this or if it has been mentioned before or not cos i cant find it in the search. anyway, possible or impossible? can the console serial number be spoofed? i no it sound ridiculous but anyone think or know if this has ever been considered or know if its even slightly possible. for example, what if you were able to spoof your serial number on your console, how would ms ban you then when you go on xbox live.

No, you can't spoof a serial number.

The only way to dump the NAND flash right now is to solder a Infectus 2 modchip to the motherboard. The NAND flash contains the serial number of the console. You could take a NAND flash from a console and flash it to a console that has a banned serial, but then you are still rendering a console useless.

yer i just stumbled upon a forum that was talking about the Infectus 2 modchip. cant be bothered with all that hassle. so i guess it looks like there are no other possible alternatives
