Hi many minds,

Used this site regularly, so thought that I would join up.

Got a couple of questions that I hope you guys can help me with regarding my wii setup. Here goes!

Got my wii this year (Jan 09) ist thing I did was to install the twilight hack, downgrader, wiigators backup launcher gammer version and homebrew. All the necessary stuff for softmoding the Wii that I found in a thread on here. My Wii has been working perfectly with pretty much most backup games that were released.

My first problem was with Sonic and the black knight which gave me a blue screen and an error code. So looked around on here and found that some games needed to be scrubbed. So found wii scrubber and patcher, again from threads on here. Applied the scrub and patch, hey we now have a working copy of Sonic and the black knight, great.

Got a few more games that needed to be scrubbed and patched, and when done worked fine. However I am finding that more and more games are giving me the blue screen and error codes even after scrubbing and patching, for example my sims racing, Wii sports resort, guitar hero 5 just dont work.

My question to you guys is as follows... Is there a newer version of Backup launcher? Or, I have read that the wii OS needs to be upgraded to version 4 and can only be done on certain models, is this true? I read that some people are using a different backup launcher, will this solve my problems and is it a wad install?

I know the answers are in this site somewhere, but there are so many misleading answers. I normally like to find it out for myself, but at the moment I dont have the time. If you can help, would be much appreciated.

My Wii has the standard twilight hack, Waninkokos downgrader, Homebrew channel, Wiigators backup launcher gamma version.

Download the SOFTMOD PACK in my 4,1 FIRMWARE SOFTMOD GUIDE in my sig.

Transfer the WAD Manager folder from the apps folder in the download to the apps folder on your SD Card.

Then transfer the WAD folder to the root of the SD card.

Now use Homebrew Channel to load WAD Manager and install NeoGamma_7.wad with it.

Now load your games with NeoGamma instead of Wiigator Gamma. Choose to enable #002 error setting in NeoGamma before you launch the game.
