Wii error 002 blue screen

hi,i'm facing the error #002 problem with a blue screen.The BIG problem was i'm new to wii.Got it as a gift.Was been told not to do any updated as it's in V3.2u and it's mod.In the menu,there is Gamma,GeokOS...etc.I had burn games like mario kart,cooking mama 2 and boxing,been able to play with no problems unind the function gamma in the menu.been searching the net looking for way to fix the error 002 but don't know how.Can any kind soul advise me please.Do i need to find out other things from my wii set in order to fix the error 002?Am in IOS249.By the way,do we need to format the SD Card for wii?if yes,how?and also do i always have to boot the #002 fix backup Launcher from The Homebrew Channel Menu list whenever i play amdworld or juz once.Can some one guide me pls.

The 002 error is raised by the old game launcher,
to fix: there is a new game launcher called neogamma or used the old gamma loader that has 002 fix on it.
You can also used the guide created by larrlje updating to 4.1u. You can do step 1 , step 2 and step 4. My advice read several times to understand.

Even the #002 Wiigator gamma can not fix #002 error sometimes. My advice is the same as fiber32. Update to NeoGamma R7.

You can get it in the 4.1 FIRMWARE SOFTMOD GUIDE that is in my sig.
Just follow the NeoGamma R7 section of the guide.

as my set is from korean set and already mod but i'm not sure if it's soft mod or hard mod.is there anyway i can tell?will it brick my wii if i installed it or update it?do we need to format the SD card in order to put all the file in?i did try create a folder name app and in the app folder a folder call launcher but when i click on the HBC,there is nothing show.did i miss somethings?

If you have Wiigator Gamma then it is a softmod. You will be safe to install Neogamma R7 (do not do any of the other stuff in the guide).

ok..i have check the menu,t has,willgator gamma backup launcher - gamma 0.3 ISO 249,HBC.Does it mean i juz have to install Neogamma R7 only?and do we need to format the SD Card?sorry,am new to Wii.sorry for all the nood question.

do u mean i installed : IOS60Patched and NeoGamma R7:
Run WAD Manager.
Select A to agree to the disclaimer.
Select IOS version to use: <IOS249> Press A.
Select NAND Emulation device <disable> Press A.
Select source device: <Wii SD Slot> Press A.
Go to IOS60patched.wad and press A.
Select action: <install wad> press A.
After it installs IOS60patched go to NeoGamma_R7.wad and press A.
Select action: <install wad> press A.
After the WAD files are installed press HOME to return to the Wii System menu
Do i need to format the SD card?or i juz put the file in?

Did I say to install IOS60Patched.wad?
I said install NeoGamma R7.
You really need to do a little research and know how to install WAD files etc. etc.
Going into it blindly isn't all that smart.

i'm sorry but i have been looking through yr thread only found IOS60Patched and NeoGamma R7 which mentioned NeoGamma R7 mentioned.so i thought it's that one.

Just ignore the IOS60Patched.wad file and install NeoGamma R7 wad.

The only thing that bothers me is how people come to this site and other sites and want to mod their systems. That is all fine and dandy but when they jump in head first with no knowledge of the modscene at all, well they are just asking for trouble.
Would you jump off a pier into the ocean if you didn't know how to swim?
Then I get those that say you should add to the guide what each step is for and what is actually being done to the system. Yeah right I add that stuff to the guide and it will get newbies 10 million times more confused.
In actuality they should already know what each step is doing to their system before they even perform the guide. There is enough thread on this site and other Wii sites to learn all of this stuff. So take the time and learn then maybe those that want to help will not get as frustrated with you.

Download the softmod pack.
Then extract it.
Then extract the "EXTRACT TO SD CARD" Archive.
The NeoGamma_R7.wad file is in the wad folder where any other wad file would be when installing them.
Make sure you have NeoGamma_R7.wad in a wad folder at the root of the SD Card. Also make sure you have WAD Manager in the apps folder on your SD Card so the Homebrew Channel can boot it.
All of this should be basic knowledge even for newbies to the Modscene. If you have no clue what I am talking about then you should learn more about the applications used in the Modscene before continuing.

Then figure out what your doing wrong. As drakoniss there are multiple threads out there that cover Wii Sports Resort and should work perfectly fine if you follow the directions properly.
