Motorola has announced their first Android smartphone, the Cliq, which will be available for T-Mobile users and will feature touchscreen slider hardware.
Making the phone unique is its use of MOTOBLUR as a UI, which has customized home screen widgets for social status, weather, messaging and more, without the need to open separate apps.

pie pie htc... now if tomtom or someone would come up with a turn by turn app for android that doesnt require constant 3g chatter to get the maps im about ready 2 swap... proally would i stayed if M$ would o shipped wm7 when they said they would... now they have just fallen so behind ... wm7 is going to look outdated compared to whats out there now... andorid... DArnG Nab it come on TOMTOM...
That looks like a really cool phone, but I have to say, in my experience, T-Mobile's network coverage is very bad. particularly in Northern California, where I live, but in a number of other places too.
