thinking about getting a mod chip for my wii. Any advice on what chip i should get or what ones i should stay away from.

I would skip the Modchip option and go with a softmod.

There is a 4.1 FIRMWARE SOFTMOD guide in my sig.

A softmod can do pretty much anything a Hardmod can do + more.

Sorry, I have to laugh at this.

Lets just do a comparison with the 'I have trouble with my modchip' posts to 'I have trouble with softmod' posts on AD.

Softmodding is a damn difficult process for some..most..people.

It wouldn't be if users took the time to get a base knowledge of the softmod scene before softmodding their system.
