Does anyone know where i can find a non ixtreme, liteon firmware. So i can restore the drive to its non modded state (i do have the key)...

as far as i know you cant return a lite-on to store bought stock.

yea but i think for the lite-ons its based off of the benq firmware. the reason you cant go back to stock is because i dont think they ever found out how to dump the exact original fw from the drive.

Interesting, I had always thought I had heard it was because they just weren't releaseing it, security concerns, etc. I didn't know that they never fully got it.

i could be wrong, and probably am. i just recall reading something about they never fully dumped the FW.
well it appears (after doing some googling, oh wait, does anyone do that anymore) the reason you cant go back to stock state is because c4eva never released the original firmware and doesnt have any intention of doing such.
