Hi I was wondering if I needed to change the book-typing on all wii games as they are all set DVD-Rom and he has a soft modded wii. He has 53 games that I backed up for him (he's kinda of rich)and I just found out that they were all booked typed wrong and came up with DVD read Error 324. Is there anyway I would be able to play these games without re-burning them all to the correct book-type DVD+R.

Any help would be great!

Cheers Hasamoder

More then likely his Wii just didn't like the media.

Some can use DVD+R but most can not.

Some that can't use DVD+R media might be able to booktype it to DVD-ROM to get it to work but most can not.

For best results use quality DVD-R media.

As for if it will work on your system. How would we know that? All you can do is try and see if they will load.

Well on my Desktop it book-types DVD-ROM but on my Laptop it book-types DVD+R using Verbatim DVD+R. Now here is the problem Now if it was one game I would just Re-burn it to DVD-Rom. But I Have 53 and no the Neogramma app can't Dedect these discs that are Book-typed to DVD+R. So can any app detect these discs?

Cheers Hasamoder

You can't booktype DVD+R media to DVD+R media. You booktype it to DVD-ROM.

As I said some systems can read DVD+R or booktyped DVD+R to DVD-ROM but most can not. If the games do not work with NeoGamma then you will need to use different media.

Either that or rip them to your PC then put them on a USB HDD Device using WBFS Manager and boot the game's with a USB loader.

How else you expect to get them to work if your system will not read the media.
