Recently my box has been becoming more and more unstable.
1. volume on fly movie channels will switch off
2. fly movie channels will disapear saying' please insert smart card' or it will flick to ' please wait, codes updating' and flashes this message for 5mins, and i try switching channels, to find others are fine, or have also disapeared.
Some times i will switch it off n on and it works again, other times unplug and wait 10seconds. Or like tonight, nothing works- unplug, update, master reset, etc.... nothing works... and then suddenly all pops back up again!.
I find the EPG menu system is very temperamental... it either works or doesnt, and when it doesnt it freezes the box- whcih will either cure it self within 15mins or you have to unplug it.
The update, fast install is a pain as it throws the channels into any group.Some channels are put into ' others' as unnamed, yet they maybe popular channels say' BBC1' , but will be incorrectly list as ' tv01'
I wish there was a way to programme the firmware so that channels i wish to truely permantly delete, will never be reinstalled on a 'user update' and only on a 'first time installation' ( after a rest for example).
The disapointing thing about this box is that its so unstable, even if i spend the time organising the channels , it will all be in vain as give it a week- a month i will be updating it, or reseting it again. Saving a copy of the channel listing on my pc, doesnt work, as i tried that before. I saved a copy on my pc, when the channels began to play up, i updated - then it was fine until i uploaded my channel preferances , at which point i had to redo it all again as the channels went blank.
