Flashing Hitachi Drive need help

Im having trouble.
Im able to send the Mode-b command to the drive and the drive gets set to mode-b but right after that it scans for hardware changes it response that no hitachi drive are found. So i cant flash my drive i can anyone help?

Check the Device Manager and if you see the Hitachi in there. What type of SATA chipset are you using?

IMO, just use the SLAX disc to set the drive to mode B ... JF has never worked for me as of yet
