Yes I know there are guides to remove softmod but for newer Wiis they aren't that specific if the result is same as for the older ones. I'd like to hear if someone has succesfully removed softmod from a newer wii.

My Wii is LEH250 and I have applied larry's new softmod for 4.1.

So simply put:
If I follow this guide and skip the downgrading part, am I clear and can I let the Wii update itself automatically after this?

I know the main stuff how larry's new softmod guide works, but I'm not 100% sure what changes it does to original system files and whether those changes get undone by the softmod removal guide or not as the removal guide isn't that detailed.
