put latest firmware on digivox-t,but when i go to scan channels nothing comes in.have another box and this works perfect. any help out there

If you have bought this box within the last week or so they
have changed the tuner in them.You will need the digivox_ter_v3330_090806.bin firmware on it.The firmware version
digivox_ter_v3300.bin was the one used up till then.

I am experiancig a similar problem, i have a eurovox tx and a digivox T. The eurovox is working perfect The digivox is only picking up 50 channels, its not picking up RTE 1,2 tg4 or tv3. The signal srength is down aswell, half of th 50 chnnels that i do have are flickering and un watchabe.
If i update the firmware will this sort my problem and give me the channels im missing back?
Also where do you get the latest software that phil43 has suggested?

I downloaded digivox_ter_v3330_090806.bin on to the digivox T but i still have the same proble. Its not picking up RTE 1 2, Tv3 tga etc still have about forty channels. The signal quality is down at about 45% and half the channels that i have are flickering, as i was saying i have a eurovox tx aswell that is working perfectly.
I dont know why it is not picking up the irish channels or why the signal quality has dropped...

The above firmware is only for boxes bought in the last 3 or 4 weeks.
This is because Digivox changed the tuner on their boxes.If you put
the older digivox_ter_v3300.bin on one of the latest boxes you will get no signal showing on box.With regards to above is the digivox
being tested on the same cable as the eurovox or is the signal split
between the 2 of them.What type of aerial is being used,is it an
original ch##us aerial.RTE 1 is the only channel on ch##us mmds that is not scrambled (encrypted) along with 1 or 2 others so I cant understand why you are not receiving it.Try doing a manual scan on
324,000 and enable network scan,

Hi Phil43,
Just saw this thread, I'm having a phew problems with this aslo. Your help will be much appreciated.
I just bought boxes from iwantabox in the UK, just flashed them with the v3330 version - 090806, but its not working. It's not letting me get into the secret menu. The manual update you mentioned above would they work in Cork??? God these can be so fustrating at times.

menu-system info-ok1004-key emu to on and exit out.

moody: after flashing ,press menu highlight installation ok to that them auto scan turn antenna power to on, go to system information then key 1004 to turn emu key on then exit exit go to sky sports (any) where you will see uploading data should only take a minute or so and you should be fine

Well lads got mine going alright again, thanks,
I turned antenna power to ON.
still missing a few music channels etc but got the terestials and have all the other main channels.
the only problem i have left is the channels names arent showing up, there just been shown as channel numbers. Is there a setting i need to change or something?

Here is a link below to 2 channel dump files.Do a factory reset
on your box.Load first cdf file on to box and if you get RTE 1
coming through straight away then you have the right one.If not
then do a factory reset again and load the other one.If you have
a ch##us aerial 1 or the other will do.You might have to change the
names on setanta to espn as these are a little out of date.To load
a cdf file click brouse on the loader and select the file.[color=red]Make sure to tick the chanel box on loader and then download.

you are probably scanning from splitter cable ,scan again using main lead coming in only this should sort ya.......
