i recently went to put my backup of lego indiana jones into the wii for my daughter to play and it would not work for me, i was getting the refare to manual, eject disc but when i ejected the disc message came up to insert the lego batman disc in wii tried a couple of times putting it back in but same thing would,nt work so i decided to check rest of my backup,s and out of bout 25 maybe 10 do the same so i read through some threads and tought it mite be best to update and put the new hack on and see if that might sort the problem so want to say tanx,s to larrylje for the link,s and tutorial on how to install worked perfect, well installed anyway so i tried to run games trough gamma r7 and my games that worked before still work but other games are giving me an error message with the number,s (1101) so was just wondering if anybody could shed some light on it for me.

Allot of systems are picky at what type of media the system will read. Memosuz is probably one of the worst you could choose. Yes some have no issues using them. But allot can't use them at all or they get sporadic behavior with them. Sometimes they will work sometimes they will not. Read errors will pop up periodically through game play.
I would use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R and burn with IMGBurn at half the rated speed.
Did you use the 4.1 FIRMWARE SOFTMOD GUIDE or Update to 4.1 firmware with already softmoded system Guide?.
If you used the Update to 4.1 firmware with already softmoded system guide did you follow and install all the latest version of IOS in the DOP-IOS section?

tanx for that i will get new discs and try and let you know, i am just wondering when i was burning my backup,s on some of my games i was patching them with ios patcher, well on sum of them what i was doing was burning the ios file first and if it woked that was fine id save it on my external drive but if i got one that did,nt work i put it in the ios patcher(249) burn it and it would work that way so i save ios to external so am just wondering would that make a difference when burning and using the r7 backup launcher or will it not matter if it was patched or not and tanx again for you,r reply,s

What did you use to boot the backups before NeoGamma R7? Whatever it was try to install it again and see if the games that do not work with NeoGamma R7 still work with what you used previously.

i tried on my old hack and they did,nt work, i was on system 3.2e so when i read a few threads on here and youtube people were saying it would,nt make a difference if you update and use new hack so i tought it might play my backup,s with new hack but still same, i was using a hack that was letting me play them on my actual wii game channel so dont know if i would have to downgrade back to 3.2 as im on 4.1 to put that orignal hack back on and just wondering are the discs im using for my backup,s will do any damage to my wii as i think i might have read in a thread here that cheap dics will break or wear a part inside of it

No there is no need to downgrade back down. You probably had cIOSCorp installed if you played from the normal game channel.
I would just try some verbatim or Taiyo Yuden first. Make sure you get DVD-R not DVD+R.

Hey there. I have had the exact same problem now. Games that did work aren't. Odd thing is I have used Verbatim dvd -r disks from the start. All burning as slow as posible on Sonic and then I recently tried imgburn. Some of my backups work some don't. All of my originals work no problem. I too am using the game channel. I suppose I can try a different brand of DVD but now I wonder if it could be the burner? Although they were working before....
