I have ran into a small problem with playing Guitar Hero 5 on a USB Loader. I was told to change my Firmware to Waninkoko's FW Updater 4.1. Can I use this on a PAL system?

What firmware are you on now?

If your already on 4.1 firmware then it is pointless to run Waninkoko's FW Updater 4.1. This is for users with 4.0 and below and wan't to update to 4.1 firmware without losing any homebrew exploits.

However you might want to go to my Update to 4.1 firmware with already softmoded system in my sig and follow the DOP-IOS section of the guide to make sure all IOS that are listed have been updated and patched to latest IOS versions.

What issue are you having with GH 5?

I am using 4.1 now. It's that I can't get GH5 to work with a USB loader. I can play it off the disc and on a backup disc. I get this when I try to play it off the USB loader.

booting wii game,please wait
ios 222 mload
init sd:/usb-loader/ehcmodule4.elf
And flashing led blu around dvd slot in!

I do have the file ehcmodule4.elf in that directory. Someone on another file said I should have Waninkoko's FW Updater 4.1.

As I said before the Waninkoko's FW Updater 4.1 is pointless if you are already on 4.1 firmware.

I would follow the advice I gabe you in my previous post. As well maybe try installing Hermes' IOS 222/223 for use with USB Loader which you can find HERE.

I've already installed it. I am using the Configurable USB Loader. I have played the with settings and when comes to the init sd:/usb-loader/ehcmodule4.elf ...

It hangs up.

That file is there in the usb-loader file.
