Refurbished xbox 360 with Samsung M25 might be locked!?

I?ve tried everything to flash a Samsung M25. This driver is supposed to be the easiest drive. I?ve flashed a few in the past but this one has given me the most trouble. I?ve used Juggleflasher 1.62, 1.65 and 1.66. It says that the flash was verified OK! but still won?t read backups. I use verbatim disc and other xbox 360s play the disc fine. I?ve used Iprep and Dosflash but nothing. I?m convinced it?s lock! It just came back from MS which convinces me even more. I?ve used three different VIA VT6421A cards, and my onboard nforce 750i ports.... Nothing........

I did get a ?Status=0x51? at times which mean in the textbook that FirmGuard is still enabled. IS that possible with a M25??? If so, what program can I use to unlock it and if it needs to be put on a disc, how do I? Do I burn it as a data file?

It could be that the laser isn't able to read the backup discs, I had that issue with a hitachi, try do a POTS calibration on it (increases laser power) and see if that works. I was able to play normal games and dvd movies but not backup games even though the flash was good.
