Loading WAD Manager with chipped system?

So my Wii is currently chipped, and works fine with iso backups, but if I wanted to run wad's through a wad manager, how would I load it/get it to work? Would I have to do any softmods in addition to the chip or do I just need to put the files on an SD card?

Depends on what firmware you have. If you have 3.3 before OCT 23rd and below then no you don't need to softmod. If it is above that then yes you need to softmod the system.

Just use the 4.1 Firmware Softmod Guide in my sig. You can skip installing NeoGamma and running the optional cMIOS for Gamecube support since you already have a modchip. Everything else will need to be done.

awesome, thanks for the point in the right direction. one more quick q; if i do the softmod do i have to worry more about updates and my system getting bricked? because i think with just the chip i dont have to worry about that

also, you say not to worry about neogamma, but what about IOS60, which is paired with it in installation instructions?
