4.1 Running Everything But Games Not Starting?

4.1U wii. Has anybody confirmed if this works?
I've got everything (HBC) installed correctly, when I use the backup loader the game starts. EX- Super Paper Mario. It loads to where it shows the controller sideways, with the squiggly mario text, then Says "Disc Load Error"

Is it my DVD-Rs? Currently using maxell DVD-Rs at 2x using ImgBrn
Or, do I need to downgrade to at least 4.1e ?

You need to do a little research on the Wii modscene. You should at least know the difference between 4.1U and 4.1E firmware. Instaling 4.1E firmware to a 4.1U system will brick your system.

Do other games work? If so then try burning the backup again.

For best results use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R media. Burn with IMG Burn at half the rated speed of the media.

Also more info on the softmod would be helpful. Like what cIOS you have installed. What loader do you use etc. etc.

What guide did you use to softmod the system?
