I just spent a week downloading a HD-DVD rip of a movie I'd like to watch. I need to get it on my ps3 but I've been having a hard time finding info on how to:

A) Get it into the right format (It's currently a VC-1 encoded MKV file)

B) How to transfer it to my ps3. I think i need to split it into multiple parts once it's encoded properly.

I have Tsmuxer and mkv2vob but I am unsure of what to do with tsmuxer and mkv2vob keeps giving me a "Unsupported Video Codec: WVC1" error message. I'm new to this so any advice would surely be helpful as I spent a lot of time downloading this 17gb hd-dvd rip.

Also, if you need any more info to help, I'd be happy to provide it.

If you are streaming then you should be able to use PS3 Media Server. Works great for every type of format.
