I was thinking of using a Nokia Cable, to use as an extractor+Probe. Is it safe? If it's by any chance faulty, will it ruin my drive? And what cable do you recommend?

I haven't bought it wet, thats why I said which do you recommend.
I'll problably buy the DKU-5 or CA-42. Is there any big risk in doing this?
