I have not yet found anything in-region that a modchip won't run.

My out of region success is about 99.5%

ok thanks for that, i made a backup from the wii through the router over wifi, i just get a blank screen for a while then it has to be turned off to retry again using neogammaR6 then tried neogammaR7, if i eject the disc it asks me to reinsert res evil 4, and in the normal disc loader for original games it shows the game like an orignal, so i was assuming the game worked. any ideas thanks

Did you follow the DOP-IOS section in 1 of the softmod guides in my sig?

Black screen after booting is usually due to a IOS not being installed or needs to be updated to play the game. Following the DOP-IOS section should fix this issue.

do the softmod for firmware4.1 on ths website
Hi - thnks, will do when my sd card shows up. Can I just ask why this is needed in addition to what the wiikey has always done? What changed? And yes - I've searched, but there's a huge jump into softmod posts from people who previously hadn't mod'd, so it's not clear. Cheers.

What did I say to do? Did I say to do any others then what is in the guide? If that was needed don't you think i would have said so?

I said to follow the DOP-IOS section in one of guides in my sig.
