My original 60gb HDD for my xbox 360 took on some water for some unknown reason. I bought a 120gb HDD and a transfer cable. When I hook my original 60gb HDD up I can nont run it , as it is not even recognized. No data recovery software that ive downloaded even finds my old HDD. Is there any way to recover my info?
Wouldn't be such a lose, but I cant connect my xbox online to recover my gamer tag. And I played for well over a year since I last connected to xbox live so im looking at loosing over 4000 gamer score points and all my saved games.

First lesson you've learnt is always have a backup & that includes your computer unless you can afford to loose data,
macrium reflect can help in the comp dept it's free

The hdd in the 360 is nothing more than a 2.5" SATA,using fat32 or fatx well whatever either way the computer can read it using i think it's xplorer360 free software,so remove hdd from it's housing or invest in something like minispy by talismoon,you may find it could be the housing & not the hdd that's the issue
