I've searched all over and I can't find a resolution to this problem. I have a Kreon flashed SH-D162D that worked fine in my desktop. My problem is that I'm away on a "business trip" so I got an IDE to USB conversion kit and I'm trying to use my laptop. I open XBC and select the drive (drive is installed and working properly in Windows). XBC reads the drive, detects Kreon 1.00, and spits out the disc size. The start button stays greyed out though. I can click 'Get Region' on the Drive Tools tab and it tells me that my original game is 0xFFFFFFFF Region Free, but nothing else works. Below is the log from XBC.

I've already searched the other posts in this topic, and the only resolution that has been found was to use a SATA to USB convertion kit, which I'm currently using...well IDE, but still...

OK, just an update, I've tried XBC 2.8 and 2.9 on Vista x32 and x64, XP Pro SP2, and XP Pro SP3, and I get the same thing. I'm really confused...This drive shows up in XBC as KREON 1.00, and IT WORKED IN MY DESKTOP!!!

OK, I've now tried this drive on several other computers with no luck. I am going to try tomorrow to put it back into a desktop and see if it works off the IDE cable.
