I've been looking through the forums for the last 2 hours trying to find an answer t this but couldn't find anything so hopefully I'm safe to open up a new thread to get some help.

I just installed a Flatmii modchip into my Wii witch already had a Wiikey installed in it.

Since I had the Wiikey already installed I have tons of backup disks laying around. Now that I have the Flatmii I want t turn those backup disks into ISO files and load them from my USB drive.

Let me just state that I have originals for all my backups, i am trying to make ISO's of my backups cause it will alot quicker than using Rawdump to make ISO's of my originals. I have a 1TB USB Drive to I want to make alot of ISO files.

So here is my problem...It's a little hard to explain so please bear with me....

I have a bunch of WII Iso files that I downloaded and they all run perfectly with my Flatmii, but I just got the flatmii so 99% of my wii games are burnt to disk already. I have a huge Hard dive available for wii games so I started making ISO images of my backed up wii Disks (downloaded images burnt to disk) using IMGBurn.

I have some ISO's that I havnt' burnt yet and they all work great on my Flatmii but the ISOs i created with IMGburn from my backup copies do not work. I keep getting Error 001 (illegal device detected or something like that). I can stick my backup in the drive and it will work fine but the ISO I created will get the error message.

I'm thinking that the problem may be in the size of the ISO file. Most of the ISO images that I download are 4,699,979,776 bytes but the ISO i am creating with IMGburn are coming out as 4,700,307,456 bytes.

Is there any settings or anything I can change to get the correct file size?
Or is my problem possibly from somewhere else?

I can always just keep playing my disks but it would be nice to have all my games being read off my USBDrive all in one spot. I could also back up all my games with RawDump but that takes 1-2 hours per disk when backing up a backup disk only takes 5-10 minutes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I read that Scrbbed ISO's work as well on the Flatmii. Anyone know if i could use WiiScrubber on my ISO files? I've never used WiiScrubber before.

P.S. I've only had my flatmii for 2 days but I love it. I've never modded anything in my life and I installed the flatmii by myself in under 15 minutes. And it works great so far other than this one problem mentioned above but I dont' think my Flatmii is the cause of this. It is so nice having all my in one spot to play them instead of shuffling through Disks looking for games.

you're doing way too much.

1. rip the backups with imgburn
2. load iso to usb drive via WBFS manager
3. run isos with usb loader

if that doesn't work, then rerip with the originals.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .
