I flashed my xbox in February and everyone is telling me im getting banned this November. is this true? Is it possible i get away with it?

Depends on what you have done on Live. If you play games early and don't take the necessary steps to stealth patch your games properly, you could be flagged. Who knows... we all could be flagged... only time will tell.

Yes it's true. EVERY Xbox360 in the world (20mil+) will be banned during November (aka Xbox-egeddon), even those that are NOT modded, because Microsoft is an equal opportunity banner.
Really, you're gullible if you believe someone "predicting" when you're gonna be banned.

Nobody knows exactly how MS detect modded consoles, cos if they did, people would be able to tell you exactly how to avoid a ban. All anyone can tell you is not to do things that could potentially set off alarm bells to MS, such as playing games early, playing review copies or leaked P2P releases, or playing games that aren't properly stealth patched. Nobody knows when ban waves are going to hit either. They can only speculate, because there hasn't been a ban wave for nearly 11 months and they usually happen around the same time that big titles are released.
You will only know that you're screwed if and when you get banned.

I didn't say you were screwed simply because of this. My guess is that playing games before release could possibly be a factor that leads to banning. It may or may not be true. What you really need to do is stop worrying if you get banned. You knew the risks when flashing your console. It is purely up to you whether to play games online or not. The best thing you can do is run your ISOs through ABGX360. There is no guarantee you won't get banned.

Of course not every single xbox is going to be banned. The ones that have not been flashed, of course wont be banned. The ones that have? MAYBE yes, MAYBE no. Nobody knows for sure. We can only speculate.
Letting you xbox turned off during the time in wich the updates will be released COULD MAYBE decrease the chance of you getting banned. But again, its just speculation.
About playing games before release. Indeed there are peopelo that have done that ang got banned. But we can't know for sure if it indeed is the ban cause. We just beleive (not all of us) that playing before the release, and without abgx check is dangerous. I recommend u to do that.
But others will tell you that it doesnt matter. Nobody cant assure, just give opinions.

Do NOT underestimate Microsoft's power. They banned my PS3, Colecovision, 46" Plasma TV, blue & white Jordans, AND my GMC Denali. But I'm gonna spoof the Denali's engine into a Yukon.

No one knows how or why you get banned with a modded console. Some get banned before others. It doesn't matter what you do. If you are playing on LIVE with a modded console, you will be banned sooner or later. My kid has been playing on live with a modded console for over 2 years now and has not been banned.
A friend of his has the same firmware and makes backups just like he does and got banned on the seconds wave of bans. You just don't know when the hammer is going to swing your way. Some of the games they have are from each other.

I remember when my NES got banned when I played Mario 3 when #1 just came out in the US....I'm going to wait a few years to turn on my box and play my copy of Halo 17 "Master Chief's Retirement Party Banza"...Looks like a sweet game.

It's ok guys. I just talked with Bill and he said the ban wave won't hit us until 9PM PACIFIC STANDARD TIME TONGHT. So, if you want to play get to playing. I'm playing all the halo 3 I can today before its too late!!!
