As above was wondering if i can flash my 79hitachi drive with onboard sata or not posible???

same for me i have a packard bell pc with intel ich 6 sata chipset . all i did is go to the bios change the pc to sata ports only . unplugged the ide cable . and bam i can flash the drives with this crap pc . so you never know untill you try ..best thing to do first is read a lot on the forums and just try and dump the key first dont rush into it easy

depends on the chipset of your onboard sata, just give it a shot, I was able to with mine, neforce chipset on asus m2n32 Sli deluxe
