IF I UPGRADE TO 1.6 IXTREME...???

I used a Xbox 360 WAVE Patcher on The Beatles: RB and burnt it (using it on an offline acount of course) so i'm technically not banned yet.
its called PPf-0-matic or something.
However,i plan to upgrade to the latest firmware of IXtremes sometime in a few weeks.
If i play those discs on the new firmware, will XBOX be able to detect anything that its patched?

If you update to iXtreme 1.6, you will not be able to play patched games. iXtreme 1.6 has strict stealth checking and will not let you boot games that have been modified.

If you have patched any games, they will not play on iXtreme 1.6. You need to check your ISO with ABGX360 before burning.

What about if i upgrade to iXtreme firmware 5.something
can i play patched games on that?
Because i've got iXtreme 4.1 and its playing a patchedgame atm (offline)

You could flash iXtreme 1.51. It does not do the PFI CRC check (Wave check). Put would be pointless because you are still playing a patched game. If you were to go online, that could be red flag. If you were to stay offline and still play, some say that the 360 logs what you do and then sends info to Microsoft. All of it debatable, but why take the chance.
If you ever want to get on Live, I suggest you throw away any patched games you have, update the firmware to iXtreme 1.6, and re-burn proper games.

what's the VERY latest firmware?
Is there an update coming or expected within 2-3 months?
Because i dont know how to flash, i get it done by some guy.
Shouldi flash the latest or wait for a new one?

Right now iXtreme 1.6 is the latest firmware for Lite-ON, BenQ, and Samsung. iXtreme 1.51 is the latest for Hitachi.
It is hard to say for when the next firmware update would be. It has been predicted Microsoft would start putting the August 12th update on disc which could cause a new "Wave" for games.

is the 1.51 firmware for Hitachi compatible with 3rd wave games?

Yes, iXtreme 1.51 will play wave 3 games. Always make sure to run your ISO through ABGX360 before burning.
