Hi there,

I have tried to figure this out myself but can I flash my Lite-On 16D2S 7..... version with only a usb to sata converter and a computer with no sata motherboard?

You need additional hardware to dump the DVDkey of the 74850C Lite-ON. It may be possible to flash with the SATA to USB adapter, but you will need to obtain the DVDkey first. See the link in my signature "Lite-ON".

If I connect the drive to my computer while it's on I can't use jungle flash because there are no com ports.

Then how do I make the usb/ sata converter appear in the ck3 tool? It give me a code 10 error in the device manager. And I don't know where I can get the drivers.
