I need some serious help with my inability to flash these drives. First i'll start off saying that i tried using the onboard SATA slots and that didn't work in order to flash my drives, i even tried Jungle Flasher and it doesn't recognize my drives at all.

I have two Xbox 360's that i'm trying to flash. The first one has a Benq drive and the other has an Hitachi 59. Because my onbard SATA wasn't working i bought a Rosewill RC-212 PCI SATA Controller card. My friends have used this and this is what they recommended that i buy. At the same time i also purchased the Xcueter NE.

I've used both of these and still no joy. I doesn't recognize my drives. I've tried "mode b" on the hitachi and still no love. I've followed the Jungle Flasher tut to a "T" and it won't pick up my drve.

Could it be that my motherboard just isn't compatible? I would think one of those 3 aforementioned methods would have worked...

I know that Hitachi's are notorious for having issues when flashing, which is why i also tried my Benq drive. Nothing seems to work and i should also mention that when i run JungleFlasher it tells me that "no comm ports were found during enumeration".

JungleFlasher seems to freeze too when i try it with my Hitachi...I just want to flash my drives...Please help.

have you deleted the via drivers?

And are you sure you scrolled all the way through the list of available ports?

I got a little bit further now. I downloaded and installed the latest VIA drivers for my card and it now recognizes it and iPrep is showing it in the dropdown now where as before it wouldn't do that.

Onto my next problem though...

Sorry for the double post. I couldn't figure out how to edit my own post...

The error that you see above is the error that comes up when i try to make a bootable usb devie and hit "prepare destination". I don't know why it's giving me that error or how to correct it? I've tried giving myself full control over that folder and all subfolders and files, but it still gave me that error. I've even gone and removed and reinstalled the software again only to be confronted with the same error.

I thought you where supposed to uninstall the drivers for the VIA card.

If your having trouble getting the PC to boot up because it hangs on the drive then try to go to CMOS settings and change the first boot device to your HDD.

Make sure the drive is powered on so the PC will recognize it.

Also make sure you check all I/O Ports. Sometimes it will not automatically choose the port that your 360 drive is on.

I can't get past that iPrep error. Any ideas?
