I use my xbox primarily for a dvd player, I have a samsung drive. I use 2x fujifilm dvd's for backups. Sometimes they will skip like crazy in the middle or end of the movie right out of the burner(not right out, but same day). I use a nec burner, what is this and is it preventable??????

Sounds like the troubles of cheap media,fuji is on the list of not so good.
Try ritek go4 or verbatim,that should solve your problem.If you cant do that right away, then try shrinking your movie just a little more, so your not writting on the outter edge of the disc.
