Hi

Recently got a game .iso, passes stealth check but fails verification

what does this mean ...? can i play it offline but not online ?

and if i play if offline as soon as i play online will they know I had the game before its release

That doesn't mean your ISO isn't good. It just means that the ABGX database doesn't have that game and it's files, to verify your ISO against it. Once it's in their database it will verify (if it's good).

Online or offline doesn't matter. If you play a "bad" game offline, it'll be logged in the 360's memory and that info will be sent to Microsoft when you do go online, possibly leading to a ban (that's the theory). So wait for verification, in order to be safe, it usually only takes a few days.
