This is where the problems start. The first step says:
Quote: 1) Launch the Homebrew Channel via the Wii channel menu. Select the cMIOS_rev3 in the Homebrew Channel list. This will start the installer. You need to press A to accept that you have read the disclaimer.
Well, that's no where to be found, given the setup.
So instead, I poked around and found a bunch of users report that "victory's cMOIS+mios-v8 installer" would do the trick and allow me to play Gamecube backups. So I have my Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes on a DVD-R all burnt and ready to go, toss it in the drive, load up NeoGamma's backup channel, load from DVD and wow, the Konami logo pops up~! But... that's all. Hangs after that on a black screen.
I'm almost positive it can't be my burn or the ISO because I've tried 2 different ISOs and I've tried 3 different DVD-R brands, all burned at 4X.
Does anyone have an idiot-proof how-to on how to finally get Gamecube support on my Wii? Again, I've followed larrylje's thread to completion, and Wii backups work just fine, but that's where my "start" point is.
