Hiya read through the forums and still cant find an answer. I just bought a starview 3 box from dvbmonkey, I done a channel scan and picked up 471 channels. I cant get any channels with the dollar signs on them ie. movies and sports. I had experiance of this before with my starview one box and managed to get it working by turning on the EMU through the secret menu. The starview box however i cant access the secret menu i have tried 1570 and the parental control and 2004 code but nothing. I havent modified the box in any way and the firmwire is 7.08. I read somewhere on here about flashing but have no idea about it or how to do it. really appreciate any help
Obviously you must flash the box with the latest Firmware and until you do you will not be able to get into the Cas System Menu (secret menu) or view any of the channels okay. So the first thing to do is Click on the link marked Eurovox and you will be able to identify what you need (i.e. cable/s) detail in graphics, different box exactly same connectivity for flashing. Then Click on the link marked Starview and you will find a tutorial on flashing the Starview 3 The Box Super, courtesy HiTeck and Celtic respectively, when you are ready to attempt the job you will need to Click on the link to Eamo's FTA Library and download the latest Firmware for your box which is GTRom_Super_8.04e.exe, and you will find it in the Folder bearing the name of your box.
Hi all...Just a question, I have the box super (starview) in c**rus cork, I have just lost all my channels bar a couple of rte / bbc...Is this the end of the line ??. I have done a scan and it picks up 170 channels but all scrambled
Hiya tried this and for some reason after it says 100% complete on computer the box reboots and then says "dl" and thats it. Is there something im doing wrong?
Did you wait until the "Download Complete" box popped up on your PC, also confirm what Firmware you used for the box, and again please state exactly what it says at the top left hand corner of your box to confirm model.
