LU54 serial wii and how to softmod?

I just want to clarify that the guide up for 4.1 will also apply to a wii with the LU54 serial number, right?

or is there a different approach I need to take?

If your that worried that you need to clarify if the guide will work on an LU54 system then maybe you shouldn't be modding it at all.

The guide clearly answers your question.
