Hi there I am running x64 windows 7, and would like to re-flash my xbox with ixtreme 1.5 as I have a 59dj Hitachi drive. Problem I am having is using jungle flasher I cannot install IOPort so my drive cant get flashed and jungle flasher isnt being displayed properly?

What other software can I get to flash my drive/send to mode b?

I do have a slax cd that can get the drive into mode B, so I could do that but what software could I use to get ixtreme on my hitachi?

DosFlash only works for BenQ, Lite-ON, and Samsung. Even though you have a 64-bit OS, you can still use Jungle Flasher. What you need to do is boot Slax and that will put your drive in Mode B. Then once you boot into Windows, then your Hitachi will already be detected and you can dump, restore, and flash the new firmware.

and why are you going to waste your time putting 1.5 on it? put 1.51 so you can at least play the new games.

Thank you for your replys guys, i do have xtrm-hitachi_v2_2_stealth 8in1 on my xbox and it reads the new games for example like dirt 2 but people are saying to go to ixtreme 1.51?

How old is my firmware, it cant be that old as it runs new video .wave format can it?

Jungle flasher application isnt displayied correctly as I can only see half the box, but works fine in my 32bit pc. ?

I cant install IO port either in my 64x so I cant flash my drive can I?

I dont have any sata ports in my 32bit otherwise I would of done it on that pc.

your FW is extremely old. the only reason it plays the newer games is because the only thing it would check is to see if the SS files were there. and since those are still there in the current games, it will play them.
