I just purchased this computer two days ago, so I may update this in the future. My previous laptop was a Dell Inspiron 15.6" core 2 duo. I wanted more RAM to do some non-pro video editing, and an update to one of the newer processors, and I wanted a 17.3" screen. In the end, I had to decide what was more important to me - a larger, good quality screen or a processor that was probably faster than I needed, but wouldn't be obsolete for a good while - i.e a 15.6" i5 or a 17.3" i3. I went with the latter, and I'm definitely not sorry so far. The picture quality of the screen on this computer is gorgeous - crisp, clear and sharp, and well-lit. The keyboard has nice big keys, though they're flat & I'd ideally prefer slightly raised, but I don't think I'll mind, since they're so large. I won't be using the number pad, but it's nice to have if you are someone who will use it.See Here: *link removed*
