Composite to 3.5mm audio wire adapter if your monitor has an audio in jack.

well it says it has 3 front rca jacks and i would imagine those may be input. I have a sound blaster audigy 2 zs with the front bay. it has the all a crap load of ports on the front bay along w/ability to use remote. I also have my 360 hooked up to a vga cable that goes through a kvm switch (this one ) and it works perfectly. my audio is input through the input rca jacks on that front expansion bay. i chose that kvm switch because it had the actual switch on it so i didn't have to have my keyboard running through it and it only requires the usb to be plugged into the computer for power. and with my monitor i can set my xbox to a resolution equivalent to 720.

OK I plug the RCA jacks into the front of my computer and how is it suppose to make sound come through my speakers? is it just a plug in and now sounds comes out of the speakers or do i need to be doing something else? A driver a program this is where i get lost at.

yea similar set up. but you have to make sure one of your audio ports is input or auxiliary.

Mind taking a picture or something so that i can see how you have yours hooked up i dont know what to do to get sound out of my speakers through the front audio red and white inputs. I am trying to not to have to buy the splitter that converts the red and white into 1 unit that plugs in. I figure that my computer has these audio inputs for a reason just need to know how to use them thanks.

koolyoe, I have one of my 360s connected to that exact same monitor. the picture is better than my 42inch Vizio & 56inch Sony. Even my daughter's 17inch CRT monitor rivals my big screens. It's the way to go. Anyway here is a pic of the $4 RadioShack piece I use for audio.

First, you have to make sure that the ports on your PC monitor are COMPOSITE AUDIO IN ports. If they are not, you have to buy converter from composite to audio jack like the one in the youtube video.
If your PC monitor already has composite in port for the audio, why don't you try to make different possible connection between your xbox and PC monitor? Xbox 360 connector has total 5 out port. Just connect 1 port, test if there is sound, if not, take it out, plug another port in, etc. It will take you less than 10 mins to determine how to make the correct connection.

Yeah, I've got a "thing" for blue LEDs. Look through the "Show off your mods" thread. I did a few mods in there.

ya all it has is the audio jack, if i got that converter I could plug it right into the monitor and get sound.
My whole idea was to use the Xbox 360? VGA HD AV Cable and plug the red and white rca cable just right into the red and white rca connectors that are already on my computer both in front and in back like in the pictures above. Guess I will just go get the converter thanks for the help.

Yeah that's all you need. The monitor's sound is not great, but passable.
