TV not picking up ps3

Hi there ive had my ps3 for about 9 months now and its been working fine then the other day my tv is not picking it up. Ive tried it with HDMI leads and scart lead.The ps3 is on as normal but no picture ive also tried it on a mates tv and the same thing no picture. Any idea anyone.

The first thing to try is a soft reset...switch the console on, then hold the power putton for (anything upto about) 10 seconds untill it beeps a few times. Switch it back on and hopefully all will be well.

If not you could have some more serious hardware issues.
