Hello all, curious how to restore to defaults with the usb loader gx. I just today got a wii usb wifi connector, got that installed, downloaded some emulators from Homebrew, then went into my usb loader gx, and was trying to find where to download the artwork for the games that currently say no image. I clicked on the star at the top, I didnt realize that just sorts by favorites...
Well I have no favorites set, and the menu was soo kind as to tell me this. But as soon as I click OK, it goes to a black dos looking screen with a ton of error messages, it doesnt allow me to select a different display type.
so now Im trying to find out how to restore the defaults so I can play the games on my HDD.
Anyone know how to fix this? or what config file needs to be edited or deleted on the SD card?
You will find the config folder on the root of your sd card, there will be 4 global_settings GXGlobal GXGameFavorites GXGameSettings
The GXGameSettings one is the only one that is important to keep which has various settings so you can really just delete GX from your sd card, reinstall it fresh and copy over your original GXGameSettings.cfg file and all your 002fixes and force PAL/NTSC etc should be in place.
hmm, alright... i didnt install it myself, so i will have to call my friend, i am kind of clueless when it comes to some of this, i didnt know if there was a utility that would restore the defaults.
