Hello, i tried to softmod my wii but i got some problems.
I'm running ver. 4.1u S#LU10 1g SD Card

using a guide by some random college student

i installed homebrew, ran downgradeios35, and installed ios35.wad.

Then ran cios38rev14 and did ios35 for network installaion
got error -116. I tried running iosdowngrade after these problems

Then i tried this process again minus installing homebrew same error

Not sure what to do next maybe start over using larrylje's guide and if so how to get their from this point please help

Should I uninstall what I've already done, including the homebrew channel, or just continue from where I'm at with your guide?

If you can undo it then go ahead. I used the tutorial in his link and it worked fine for me.

Thank you for your help. I just have one more question.
I have homebrew on my wii, but i cant get bootmii to load from the homebrew channel.
I think I have this right, can I place boot.elf in apps/newfolder/boot.elf then install bootmii through homebrew?
