Hey everyone - I know this is sorta noobish, but I need some help here. I have my x360 modded with the iXtreme 1.6 firmware and Toshiba drive. I verify my images with abgx360 and burn them with Imgburn (have already set the layer break and book type). All of my games seem to work except Guitar Hero 5 and Guitar Hero Smash Hits. They pass in abgx, but whether burned at 1x,2.4x,8x they still won't boot. The xbox just says "Open Tray". The only thing different with these games is the disc - I used Verbatim for all my other games, and some Cheapo Nexxtech discs from The Source. They show up as 'RICOHJPN-D01-67'in Imgburn. This is probably a dumb question, but would you think the discs are the problem? Or should I go over all my steps to make sure I didn't eff up somewhere?
Ya i agree with leerage, if you don't wana go through all the trouble of making sure you have a good new dvd burner, and that your laser needs to be cleaned or to be replaced to read cheap discs. Then just use verbatims...You might try memorex if there is a money issue, they are cheaper and are the second best next to verbatims in my opinion. But if you order Verbatims off ebay there cheap and also sams club has like 50 for 60$ Thats a really good deal, 50 games for the price of one retail!
