purchasing pre-dvd release vcd's, is supporting the evergrowing piracy in china, vietnam, and other asian countries. Ad does not condone piracy, read the forum rules. not to mention ur feeding the pockets of black market in countries that already make billions from pirating vcd's and dvd's, if you want pirated material look else where, it is not welcome at AD!!!

okay well maybe just millions, if you do some reading about vietnam, they have whole stores dedicated to the selling of pirated vcd, dvd and games, whole stores just for the selling of backups. don't disregard the fact, that oversees piracy is not a lucrative business

im not disregarding the fact that piracy is a big problem in overseas countries, or any other country for that matter, its just not as lucrative as all that, what $3/$5 a dvd? $2 a vcd silver(or even less)?? it doesnt add up, i see alot of marketstalls selling pirated warez and i cant say that those ppl operating them look like their living the high life, quite the opposite

and in relation to your question uhuru, if you look hard enough you wont have to purchase new release movies at all, release groups put them up on the web for download, and its absolutely free, if you know where to look ;) which of course in this forum is not my place to say
