The game came out on the 22nd, and it's still not being verified in abgx. What are the chances that someone will actually put the retail disc in the database?
If someone tells what needs to be put up, I could do it, along with a lot of others that I get a hand on.
I assume the people at ABGX360 couldn't trust my files, because they have no idea where I get them from (friend at video store). ABGX probably needs the disc physically in hand, to assure themselves authenticity of the files they put on their site, which is why I never bothered to try.
Originally posted by guessswho: no, not how it works. You need to rip all the files from the cd, and rip it twice to ensure the crc's match.
Then they add it to the database.
OK, so explain it to me like I'm a noob.
1. What program do they want you rip it with? Do they want you to use XBC, seeing as to how ABGX360 will only extract files from burned discs).
2. Who/where do you send the CRCs to?
3. How do they know my CRCs are legit and belong to what I say they belong to?
Sorry, didn't see your response..
Way it works...
Take a kreon (or any ripping drive) and you will rip the game, twice.
You'll extract all files like the ss, pfi, everything from the iso.
Twice.
Reason you do that is to make sure the CRC's match and didn't get a bad rip.
Once you have all the files, you'll want to go to the #stealth360 room on efnet.
Once there, just post a question in the room asking any of the ops how to upload the files to them. They will check it, probably ask where the source was, and then will put the files into the database.
