Broken HItachi V79 drive Want to spoof to BenQ

I have a Hitachi V79 drive that I want to spoof to a Benq. I cant get the drive key off of the Hitachi because the motor is broken and it will not spin any disc. Is there anyway else I can spoof the BenQ to be seen as the Hitachi V79? Thanks in advance.

You could put the PCB into a working Hitachi 79 drive and dump the key. If you don't have a spare drive, PM me. I have a spare 79 and could help you out.
